I spent the afternoon at Wickson in Philo, capturing the quiet intensity and craft of their new chef, Claudia. Nearly the entire menu at Wickson is cooked in a traditional wood-fired brick oven, and Claudia brings a grounded elegance to that fire-driven approach. During the shoot, she was preparing handmade ravioli for that evening’s special—each fold and pinch a reflection of her care and precision. The space was filled with the earthy scent of flour, herbs, and burning oak, and the rhythm of her work felt both timeless and alive.
